Lets face it, it's never nice going to see the dentist and we understand that, which is why we go the extra mile to make you feel at ease, especially if you have not been to the dentist for a while. Why not meet the team and try our Meet & Greet service, just fill in the form and we'll give you a call to meet one of the team. It's a great way to get to meet your new dental carer if you are feeling nervous about treatment you may need, we won't charge you for the appointment and we wont be doing any treatment. If your happy, we can then move on to booking you in for a consultation or even a checkup, but its up to you, there is no obligation and we will never provide any treatment that you do not want. So, just give us a call now or fill in the form, it really is that simple!

Smiles Centre is a great place to work, Simon and I have spent the last four years putting together the best possible team because we realise that to have a strong team you need to have the right people with the right attitude. We also know that to give the very best quality of care it helps to have a very diverse range of skill sets so that every team member compliments the next. We are also constantly striving to improve the experience of our patients by going above and beyond what is expected of us. Delivering a great service every time is an incredible feeling.

I’m a family man really but, I do love my job. Even though I take my work seriously, I still think that it’s important to have fun at work and I really like to get to know my patients. I love working at the Smiles Centre too because everybody gets on so well and between us we have a diverse amount of skills from all sides of the dental profession.

Being a part of the Smiles Centre is great because I get to work with some really great DCP's who are at the top of their game and to be a part of a new rapidly growing dental sector "clinical dental technology" is really exciting.

I have wide experience in the dental field including attained the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy and has led to a special interest in all aspects of General Practice, and a dedication to the provision of high quality care for all the family in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Being a therapist can throw up a few challenges at times but its a fascinating career and wouldn't want to do anything else. It’s simply the best feeling to be able to help someone and know that you are having a positive impact of so many peoples lives. My new patients always comment on how comfortable the treatment was, compared to when they have had a scale and polish at their old practice, which is great to hear.

To work as a dental technician is so rewarding, it covers many of the artistic and design disciplines that I love, such as sculpture and moulding and casting. But the work also involves understanding the biofunctions of the human oral anatomy and everything you create has a practical use.

I feel really privileged to be able to do what I do. I know not many people enjoy their job as much as I do and even though I have been doing this since I was a school boy, I still get very excited about it today. I love meeting all the wonderful people that come to my clinic and I like being able to help people. I get a huge sense of achievement when I provide a new denture, knowing that in many cases I have changed someone's life whether it’s because they can finally eat their food better or because they’ve been given the confidence to smile again.
