Cleaner
Seamlessly molded sinks that integrate with the worktop and splashback are the most hygienic form of worktop surfaces used in medical practice. With no joints or seams between the sink and the worktop and no joints or seams between the splashback and corners, there is nowhere for germs to breed. The work area is one solid piece of corian material and although this is not a essential requirement for dental practices, it is considered best practice. Taps are set off centre from the waste to prevent splashback from the sinks trap and the sinks do not have an overflow hole which also reduces the chance of harbouring bacteria.
Safer
We use a modern delivery system which reduce fatigue for our dentist and has no trailing cables. We also use intra oral cameras to record images and to show you areas of your mouth on a screen where we may need to discuss certain issue with you and the visual can give you a much better understanding of what is going on. We can also print a custom cleaning guide for you with the areas of the mouth that need attention and a description on how to clean certain areas of your mouth.
Comfortable
Our soft leather dental chair is very comfortable and we have a very large ceiling window light which gives the clinical room a nice bright airy feel. It is particularly nice in the summertime when the sun is high in the sky.
Accessible
Smiles Centre is all ground floor level and has easy access for wheelchairs. We have a ground floor washroom with a wide door and rated as an ambulant disabled toilet. we have a bus stop right outside and the number 17 bus runs from the Stratton crossroads to the town centre every 10 minutes. Situated just off of the Moonrakers roundabout. We have parking at the front of the building for a few cars and alternative parking in Co Op across the road or free car park at the church further up Beechcroft road.

I’d like to make an appointment, but I can’t make it over the phone because cell phones aren’t allowed at work. Would it be possible to go in person?
