How Private Dentistry Works
Private dentistry is quite different from NHS treatment, although the fundamentals are the same, there are many benefits.
Firstly, when you see a private dentist there is typically more time allowed per appointment, this is certainly true here at Smiles Centre as we are fully private, we don’t have any NHS contract at all so everything we do is tailored around the patient, we allow plenty of time so that the you don’t feel rushed. Our mission at Smiles Swindon is that all our patients enjoy attending so much so that they actually look forward to future appointments.
Another great aspect of paying for private healthcare is that you can dip in and out as much as you like, many of our patients will come in and have specific cosmetic work that they are unable to have done at their NHS practice, that is fine, you don’t have to be a regular patient at Smiles and likewise, having treatment at a private practice does not mean losing your place at your existing NHS surgery.
Having said that, it is very cost-effective if you do decide to stay as a regular patient as there are Smile Plans that allow you to pay monthly for on-going routine treatment.
Smiles Plans start at £14.99 per month and include check-ups and hygiene appointments, this price can reduce per person if you are attending as a couple or family. Full details about our Smile Plans can be found here >Link to Smile Plans<
