“Dentures for Dummiez” – denture guide introduction
I’m Simon from Smiles Centre in Swindon. I’ve put a step by step denture guide on how a/your denture is made.
This will be minus the complicated terminology, as I’m sure you get from the title, but informative never the less.
We will start from the initial impression, all the way through to the finished product. So, see you in the next part of this denture guide: https://smilescentre.co.uk/whats-a-denture-impression/
And with all that, here’s how we can help you with any denture related query;
With that we’ve also looked at denture strength within a blog (which also relates to our blog on denture repairs). At Smiles we believe that the best dental care begins with providing knowledge on the dental health, oral care, and treatments that you might be in need of – and the results speak for themselves!
As, on the Official Smiles Centre Facebook page, we have many customers wanting to share their their feedback with you.
If you’re already invested in the idea of having a new set of dentures, or your dentures replaced, repaired, then book an appointment through Smiles Centre Dentures. Even if it’s just for a general inquiry, no commitment needed.
Thanks, Simon Jennings.

Im really looking forward to this set of blogs Simon! and i’m sure many people will find it interesting finding out just what exactly does go into making a denture! I would love to see some video too, and if this set of posts develops well, we may consider creating a permanent page for them. I have always wanted to do this, so we can show our patients just what it is that we do between the appointments, but sadly i’ve just never gotten around to it.
yes I’m looking forward to this blog too! Lots of video and images will be great.
Lots of photos being taken. A video is a good thought though. Perhaps filming the setting of the teeth or how it is turned from wax to injected acrylic.
